How did you come up with the idea for this product?
When my daughter was born, I discovered that most baby monitors made me more nervous, since I couldn’t tell if she was breathing when I’d watch her sleep. After dozens of times waking her up to make sure she really was breathing, I figured there had to be a better way!
What makes your product special?
Cocoon Cam lets parents know that their baby is breathing without the need for an uncomfortable wearable that baby just kicks right off. Our goal is to give every parent the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your baby is OK, and help you understand your baby’s sleep habits.
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
Building a product that helps my wife and me sleep well each night, and seeing thousands of parents enjoy the same experience!
