- Our baby carrier coat easily slips over parent, child (infant or toddler) and your favorite baby carrier to keep you and your child snugly warm in cold weather. Note: Baby carrier is required and not included.
- Reversible! The coat can be worn forward for a front carry, or reversed with parent hood removed for a back carry. The coat has both front and rear pockets, so your hands have somewhere to go no matter which carry you choose. We’ve also added an extra neck zipper for when you back carry to give your neck some breathing room. The main zipper features a removable pull cord that will help you when zipping, especially in a back carry and on your own with the little one.
- UPDATED FEATURES: The child openings can now be snapped closed so you can wear the coat by itself. The child hood is removable and can be made smaller with a new button snap. The parent’s hood is now larger to accommodate mom buns and has a drawstring to help keep it in place. The coats are 4 inches longer than the originals. The pockets are now even bigger to accomodate the largest of smart phones and keychains.
- The exterior feels like a soft, thick sweatshirt and is made out of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The gray striped interior liner adds a decorative flare and extra warmth and is made out of 50% cotton and 50% polyester.
- For plans to wear with a toddler, order normal unisex sizing. For plans to wear with an infant or for a more fitted feel, order one size lower than your unisex size.
Note: RooCoat babywearing coats do not include a baby carrier.

- Reversible – Wear the RooCoat like a normal coat for when you front carry your child. Turn the coat around like a smock and wear it when you back carry.
- Removable Zipper Pull – For when you’re alone, the zipper has a long pull cord that will assist you in zipping up the coat whether you’re front or back carrying.
- Neck Zipper – When back carrying and wearing the coat in reverse, the adult hood is removable and we’ve added a neck zipper to give your neck some extra room if needed.
- Double Pockets – Whether you front wear or back wear, we’ve added pockets on both sides so you’ll have them when you need them.
